Trainings

The Cherokee Nation Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) offers CCEPD approved training free of charge to child care providers every month. Each quarter, trainings are listed in our newsletter. Early Childhood Educators are also available to offer specialized training and technical assistance at your center or home. Topics include:

  • Developmental Appropriate Practices
  • Literacy Training
  • Other trainings can be developed to fit your needs

Technical Assistance

In addition to trainings offered by our qualified Early Childhood Educators, the CCRC also offers technical assistance to providers that help with classroom set-up, accreditation, licensing and more. Technical assistance topics include:

  • Curriculum Ideas
  • Environments in your CCC or FCCH
  • STARS information, and help to increase STARS
  • Getting organized with STARS paperwork
  • Room Arrangement
  • Behavior and Guidance in the classroom

Community Outreach
